Cinematographer, Henry, finds an Mp3 player dropped on the set of the film he's shooting. The girl who dropped it was caught
in his frame when she crossed the camera unaware, but that's the only image of her Henry has. He wants to do the right thing
and return her Mp3 player, but how do you find someone when you don't know who they are, or where they are? You search.
And Henry discovers that, sometimes, the thing you're looking for finds you. Mp3 stars Jon Ray, and Kitty Stuart and Aaron Mabry.
Mp3
was written, directed and shot by (then) 13 year old Tiger Darrow. It was selected by the Austin Film School Master Class
for production using students for crew. All of the students in the class were age 13-18. Tiger was the youngest in the
class. Tiger did her own location scouting, searching Austin for specific backgrounds she wanted to use in order to create a
specific color progression within her film. Tiger was responsible for creating her own budget, casting the film, and acquiring
her own equipment. She shot the film on a Panasonic DVX100a at 24fps.
Mp3 was honored to be selected BEST YOUTH FILM at the 2007
Foursite Film Festival in Ogden, Utah!
